Can’t this day get any worse?
The sun had barely risen, casting a pale glow over the cityscape, when the day took a turn for the worse. It started with a leaky roof in the office, followed by a flat tire on the way to work. As the hours ticked by, it seemed as though the universe was conspiring against me. Can’t this day get any worse?
